Coraline won't start showing up for quite some time. Usually after all of the ugly phase is wrapping up. 4-6 months it will start showing up. You can seed some to speed the process up. Either from a bottled product or scratching some off a snail or crab that has it.

Every time I turn my return pump off for maintenance. If it’s off more than 30 minutes it smells like the ocean in the living room. The age of your tank and also the type of coral that you have in it will change the smell. You would probably only notice a smell without circulation or good ventilation. It’s a good thing that you do not have the smell. Take a big acro colony out of the water it’ll smell like the ocean…
