Have a remote fuge, and from time to time I decide to try to get all the detritus out. Seems no matter how careful I try, I stir it enough that when all is said and done, a layer if detritus dust ends up on the chaeto. I'm wondering if chaeto can be (quickly) rinsed in RO/DI without any negative effects?

TIA

I have no idea about RODI, but could you use old water from a water change to clean it?
