Hi All,

Hoping someone may assist with identifying what this might be on the yellow wrasse.

It's hard to see at times even under white light, not sure if it's just the slime coating on them that I think they have sorting itself out after being put in the tank (been nearly 1 week in).
I had a wrasse from a different LFS which I was told not to worry when it was showing something similar and that it was just the slime coat adjusting.

Just thought I'd run it past the experts on here.

There is a related white belly wrasse, Halichoeres leucoxanthus that has more white right there, but it is more regular in pattern and would be on both sides of the fish.

In this case, I can't tell from the symptoms, they are too general. It could be Uronema, it could be bacterial, even flukes. I'm afraid you'll need to wait until additional symptoms develop that might pin this down....
