Oops you're right it was someone else LOL!LOL! Wasn't me! I am from Southern Illinois....born and raised..... Minnesota would be too cold for me! [emoji2]
It was!!! We go at least once a year! It is so cool to see our aquarium residents in their natural environment! [emoji16]Very nice! Looks like a great trip!
Wow what a trip and those are some fantastic pictures!!Also my husband and I just got back from a dive trip in Mexico. Thought I would share a few under water pics.....
LOL! [emoji23]. Sorry! The exact same thing happened to my husband. Except he didn't know what it was and grabbed it! Ha ha ha! I bet Purto Rico is really cool! I have never been! Thanks for the encouragement about my tank!!! [emoji16]Wow what a trip and those are some fantastic pictures!!
I love the wrasses, too! Everything looks great keep up the good work!
In Puerto Rico I grabbed what I thought was a 12” sea cucumber 2-3x the girth of my large thumb only to discover quickly it was actually a large bristleworm... that burned... for a while... LOL
Hi! The sump does take time to get it adjusted so it is quiet. After you get it dialed in I find it a lot quieter than my previous tank, which was a Innovative Marine SR 80. Now that was a AIO so the "sump" was in the back of the tank if you want to call it that! LOL! So far I love this tank.....it is built really well. Hope that helps! If you have any more questions please feel free to ask! [emoji16]Love your tank and all the helpful information on this build. I am considering this Red Sea 750 for an installation in my study, but am afraid of the noise from the sump. Currently all my tanks are in the basement partly due to the noise of pumps, water gurgling etc. Are the RS tanks any quieter then the “standard” set ups?
Hi! Thanks! I don't test my parameters very often, but a couple of weeks ago when I got back from vacation I tested my nitrates and phosphates. My nitrates were 10ppm and my phosphates were less than .1ppm. I run 3 bags if Chemipure Blue each in a filter cup, 1 bag per cup and 4 bags of phosgaurd in my 4th filter cup. I don't use filter socs any more.Gorgeous tank and some amazing acan colonies. I see you mentioned some of your water parameters but wondering where your phos and nitrates are at. Also, do you know what your part is on the sand?
Sorry, I meant what is your par for the lighting.Hi! Thanks! I don't test my parameters very often, but a couple of weeks ago when I got back from vacation I tested my nitrates and phosphates. I apologise.....I am not sure what you are asking by this....."Also, do you know what your part is on the sand?".....lol.....
LOL! I gotcha! My lights ramp up and down.....last time I checked with a par meter.....it was a while ago....I want to say about 200-250 at the sand.Sorry, I meant what is your par for the lighting.
Yeah I do, but my adult Emperor Angel likes to take nips at my Acans from time to time! [emoji34].......but I knew the risk....."sigh".....and I love the big guy....lol ..Bet you have greath growth with your params.
Looking spectacular!
