Hi everyone...
Purchased an ATK and thought this thing is a plug and play device. Not.

Just added a new optical sensor to port 4 on the FMM and can not rename it.

Can anyone tell me why?

Thanks in advance!

NOTICE NO DOT AFTER PORT 4 OPTICAL SENSOR BUT WAS ABLE TO SAVE IT AS OPTICAL SENSOR AS SHOWN BELOW.

THIS IS WHERE I WAS ATTEMPTING TO CHANGE THE NAME. NOT HAPPENING.

I think I had the same problem. I was clicking on the "Set" button, when I should have been clicking on the "Submit Module Change" button.

I am not trying to rename the FMM module I am trying to rename the probe.

I was able to change all my 4 ports through Fusion, try it there? I haven't tried it on the aquacontroller end.

This is how my FMM ports look on my dashboard, I dragged the original tiles in there which were named Swx11_1, Swx11_2, Swx11_3 and Swx11_4. I hit the gear icon to get into the configuration.

You can see on the port 4 (digital switch 4) it's named ROalrt, this is where I wrote it manually and saved it on the top right. This is the optical sensor I placed in my ro reservoir, when it goes to open (and I get an alert), then I know it's time to fill it up.

This is on the aqua controller side where I see my change took place. I never went directly in here to adjust.

Hope this helps

thanks for the post, very helpful:
which apex are you using? I assume the new apex... I have the classic which does not have this option on fusion.

Where you are changing it is the correct area on the local UI. if the change is not taking I would first try a different browser. If that does not workrestart the Apex and try again. Could either be browser cache or the apex.
