Late last year we put in a lot of effort into rearing the bellus angelfish. The full write up can be found here - https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/bellus-angelfish-breeding-project.319243/. I'll share the details here for everyone to enjoy.

Here's a video of the spawn.

This clip shows how the infertile eggs sink, while the fertilized eggs float

Which resulted in a nice crop of prolarvae.

We had a massive number of larvae survive to about day 10

By day 28, we had 20 larvae past flexion.

Around day 40, we had 6 left.

Day 55

Then finally, day 87 we have little bellus angelfish!

Only a handful made it through, but this was during Black Friday when I was working 12 hours at the day job. We lost most of the angels around day 10, which was when I was working the most. In the future, I'm confident we can improve the results significantly.

that's awesome! how you maintain to get the eggs into the container? how to keep it alive? Do you use a hatchery for the copepods?

Amazing work!

I have a watanabi pair I’m pretty sure has spawned, but I have no idea where to go from there.

We have a series of screens that we use to clean the eggs, and concentrate them. The little jar was used only for visual, they're normally kept in a larger container. We maintain large copepod cultures to keep up with feeding.

This is amazing and in my opinion the only viable long-term future of our hobby! Keep up the good work. I love to see breeders that are finally working with species other than clownfish and blennies!
This could someday be so much more than just this Hobby.
