I had posted earlier about putting two small cardinals in QT with CP and haven't got much feedback (https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/qt-on-cp-for-cardinal-and-chromis.614958/)

Now that i started the QT process with CP, got them on last Sun and added CP on Tue, today all day one hiding behind filter and other in a corner behind pumping pipe, hiding and not eating.

What can i do now, should wait an observe, or take chance and move it to DT?

FYI: I have 3 small chromes in the same QT too.

Were they eating before CP ?
Reason for CP?
How much flow? They dont like a lot of flow.
Frozen food, live food, or pellets?

one cardinal was eating flakes, and i tried flake, frozen brine shrimp and pellet, just one ate.

Reason for CP is my usual process of QT for 27 days.

Flow is not that high, its 20 gal tank.

I think cardinal don't do well in CP

Why? Okay, here is the update.
Precious Sunday i did WC and added CP to compensate the new water, 2 days later one cardinal seen stuck in the return filter dead, again last Sunday did another WC and added CP, today 2 days later the other cardinal is dead, seen stuck in circulation pump. I can't think of anything else, i have 3 small chromis in the same QT and its fine so far.

The quantity of CP i dosed is 40mg/gal

What is CP?

Sorry didn't see the post until today (usually i get email notification but somehow it did not come thru for this)

CP is chloroquine phosphate, its a malaria/parasite medication for humans and pets, I believe not available easily here is US but some online stores and ebay sell them. Thats one medication treated for fish in QT takes care of Ich and velvet related diseases.

This is where i learned from a year ago. https://www.ultimatereef.net/threads/emergency-disease-fighting-101.830752/#post-7824933

hope it helps.
