I am setting up a new tank and used Caribsea live sand.
per the instructions I did not rinse the sand. It’s been 3 days and my water is still cloudy, and there is silt all over the rocks and glass. I am using a filter sock, and floss in the other inlet. The tank is the Innovative marine Nuvo25 Pensulia. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

There should have been a packet that came with the sand, did you use that after you added the water?

simply redo it so you don't get a headache any time you disturb sand, long after it settles. pre rinse it like every single job in this thread, you are going to hate it if you dont:

you can see by that thread/all jobs the same for eight years/how to proceed

you can see that rinsing bacteria doesn't matter as well/#1 question people ask
