So wanted to go super minimalist. Just imagine monti colonies, leather and gorgonias growing off of each pillar.

Anyone know what those tiny silver fish are called that swim up and down in the waves on the beach?

Got a dozen or so hanging out in the hotel with hermit crabs, seaweed and driftwood. Lol

Build is looking great. Love the lagoon.

Nice woodwork. Was that made back at the shop? Needing a skin made for a metal stand of mine...

Yep the woodwork was all made at the shop. It's the first one we did and it's actually laminate over wood with recessed magnets to hold onto the stand. The laminate was all cut on the CNC for an exact fit. It's a very very pain staking process and the laminate is way more expensive than I thought it was going to be. The laminate alone was $400 and it took about 40 hours of labor to cut, glue, file, etc. The finished product is amazing though and couldn't be happier.

Broke all the way though to the basement! It's hard to tell from the pictures but those are 3" holes.

Plumbing purchased. Now the worst part - actually doing the plumbing. I despise it :(

Pray for me

I have never seen totes look so good! That lagoon is FIRE. This is definitely tempting me to use my garage as a sump room for my main display.
What would you see as the biggest hurdles to get over in having the 2 levels conncted?

All the plumbing is done!!! Y busy G. England came over and literally did all the plumbing for me. It was like a mad scientist asking for tools as I handed him couplings, 90s and glue. Thank you again buddy - I owe you one or two ;)

Also, I did add some more rock. Just not enough places for the fish to hide. Still didn't go nuts and stuck to the minimalistic theme for the display. Tell me what you think. Thanks!

Watching water boil waiting for this to clear.

Here's some pics of the lagoon and holding tank to pass the time.
