I have been keeping this carpet in a nanotank, and it’s been doing fine until recently where it started prolapsing for a minute at a time randomly a few times a day. Perhaps the lighting is too Low? I feed it small live guppies as it is very accessible, and it receives them well. The stickiness fluctuates though. Is there anything wrong or are there any recommendations?

pictures show: feeding and eating, prolapse and what it was like originally. Any help would be greatly appreciated

What is your definition of pro-lapsing?

If those are pictures during a feeding only then I don’t see any issues to be concerned about. Best to take pictures when it’s at its best and worst everyday.
