Normally I love all types of macro but verticillata is too difficult for even me to maintain with regular pruning. So I'm looking into a natural predator like a rabbit fish, tang, or angel. Preferably a smaller species and one that won't eat my tiny feather dusters or seaslugs. I've been searching post here but findings are minimal. Does anyone have any experience with these types of fish eating verticillata? If so, then which species?

I did read a post that had me concerned about long term consumption of this macro in terms of toxicity. Any thoughts here?

I'm also looking into seahares. I have found some post stating certain hermits will eat it but I'm a strict no crabs allowed guy. But if there are any other inverts besides urchins that eat it please let me know. Don't want to get an urchin because I don't want it eating my red coralline which has taken years to grow out.

My scopas tangs, black naso and fox face would destroy that, it is gone in seconds if I introduce corals with it on the rock.
