CHAETO... What's the correct way to say it?

I tried the chaeto diet but couldn't stick with it!

It's "keto". Like the diet thing. Same way that sometimes pediatrician has the extra little "a" in there, like paediatrician. They're both of Greek origin. It makes an "ee" sound. Kee-toh

So, I decided to actually look up how it's supposed to be pronounced.

Apparently the "Ch" is "K" (Latin pronunciation), the "ae" is "ee" and the "to" is "tō." So it's pronounced like "Key-toe." Or...if you want to say the whole word, it's "Key-toe-morf-ah" (Chaetomorpha).

Just thought I'd pass that along to anyone else who is interested in this stuff. Haha!

Always assumed the ae made in “i” sound like the latin. I guess the Greek pronunciation is a bit different, good to know.
