Hi I’m ChattaBob, some of you might remember me as ReeferRob, it’s been a while!
I’ve been around since R2R was Club Zoa. I’ve had hundreds of gallons of reef and frag tanks through my life, over the years. I’ve had build threads and was extremely active on the forums at one point. My most recent tank was 125 gallons and ran from ‘12-‘16.
Reef keeping is in my blood. And when I shut my last tank down in ‘16, I knew I would be back!
Fast Forward ‘22 and I just couldn’t take it any longer. Constantly consuming my mind each and every free moment. In April it began, my most challenging reef endeavor. A tank that with a volume I was more familiar with as a portion of a water change.
TANK: Fluval EVO 13.5
STAND: Motown Engineered Woody
LIGHT: A.I. 16HD, w/ the Goose.
FIJI CUBE HOB: Refugium w/chaeto, heater and gauge.
Fuge Light: Acke 12w Amazon special!
Heater: Eheim/Jager 50w
Flow: Sicce 1, Jabeo SW5
Skimmer: IceCap K1 Nano, pulling air from a DIY scrubber. I have 2 kids, 4 cats, two dogs and my wife and I.
ATO: Clscea Drip Amazon Special
Return: HOB pump was trash, I upgraded main return to feed tank and fuge with a controlled DC pump from Amazon. IAOI 12v, absolutely love this piece of equipment.
Controls: GHome Wi-Fi power strips x3.
Hanna Checked: pH, Alk, traces, phates and calcium.
Cycled the old fashioned way with 3 Chromies. I did use the BW Xport Bio Cubes with Bacter7.
Live rock from LFS as well as Fiji Pink Sand, Reef Crystal Salt.

Black Ice (I think) Clown
Yasha Goby
Yellow Clown Goby
Pink Streak Wrasse
3 Cromis (about to go back to foster care!)
As for corals, I love them all, it’s hard to keep to a specific species. I hope to keep a mixed
