Thanks everyone!

much to learn and to continue to put in place for better health. But it’s trending in the right direction now (knock on wood).

So the two end doors, only open on alternating sides?
Correct. If you look out from the back of the tank, the left door of the back compartment and the right door of the front compartment open. No alternatives.

Is there a way to change this like drilling different hinge holes or something

unfortunately not. You learn to live with it though. My couch runs right up to the electric compartment, fun times getting in there.

Dang I was thinking of having my bed next to one side. I guess I just can’t use one compartment until I get more space aka move out

Looks like you had great results with Vibrant. After meeting you and talking to you about your tank and Vibrant I’m now using it. I’m happy to see your tank look so good!

Yes vibrant worked wonders but I started dosing heavily and some acros started to bleach. Start slow and be ready to test & dose PO4 & no3 as needed.

Thanks @vetteguy53081 !!

@Xmoji ideally you don’t dose inorganics and feed more... but most people need to dose inorganics for both the coral and the vibrant bacteria to continue to grow and attack nuisance algae.

typical numbers- .03 PO4 at least 3 no3, but might be best keeping it where your corals are used to.

Hey reefers- I think we’re due for a tank update

the acros are taking off and the tank is slowly, but ever more quickly :) turning from frag land to an actual reef.

unfortunately my zoanthid collection got decimated by a rogue bacteria. Luckily chemiclean fixed that. So as of now, things are on the up.

here’s some top downs during a water change yesterday:

Glad you got your reef back. Good on you for grinding it out through the challenges. Tank and sticks looking great.

I am not usually a canopy guy, but your brother really brought some aesthetic value your setup.

Thanks Scott. He really did. It made the whole tank look that much better.

now the concrete ceiling... that was fun drilling into! Don’t think I’ll be doing that again :)
