What do you mean canceled? He always was very helpful. You can reach him directly at his website
Humblefishaquatics.com

Also curious about this. He was/is very a very knowledgeable user on this forum. Wonder what happened.

Fed a bit of fish frenzy this morning as usual. My mature China wrasse now has a piece of fish stuck in one of its gills. Its still eating normally.
I put a fish trap in to try and catch it.

Wow!!
Mine started picking on the smaller one I added and kept it from eating enough. I moved it over to my acclimation tank where it’s starting to gain weight. I haven’t noticed any changes in coloration on my original one though it has grown a bit.

I think mine is in the very beginning process of changing sex. During feeding and right before the lights go out it loses much of its black coloration under the dorsal fin. I also noticed a very slight hint of pink on its caudal fin.
Will try to post pictures.

Any updated pics of yours @OrionN ?
I think my A. neoguinaicus finished changing. He is much more colorful when he is in his nuptial coloration but really difficult to take picture while in the mode becasue he is so fast and moving a lot. I will try and when I get a good picture I will post. His baseline coloration have not change for the last 2 months.

@OrionN
On a side note -
Do you have any experience with Macropharyngodon choati?
I think im going to give these a try. It will probably be the most difficult fish i’ve attempted to keep.

After feeding today I noticed new ‘electric’ blue lines starting at the eyes and reaching to the top of the gill plates.

My China Wrasse today, just as the light about to turn down. My fishes are doing their hanky panky in the late afternoon. I am rarely home early enough to see. I was luckly tonight and grabbed a few pictures of this beautiful fish.
