Hey everyone.

Getting back into reefing again after a few years out, trying to make the decision on what tank to go for.

Last tank I had was an Aqua One s2 400. Liked the tank but looking for a rimless one this time around.

Originally I had planned to spend the money on the RedSea Reefer Xl 425, but today I came across the new Aqua One reef system 326. Does anyone here have this tank and recommend?

Can't see myself spending around an extra $1000 for the RedSea when the Aquaone 326 is so similar.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

jmo...

I'd stay with Red Sea for top notch customer support, down the road.

Unfortunately, we don't get Aqua One here in the states so I can't comment. However, I'm wrestling with the same thing right now and am Finding FijiCube's options to be cheaper than RedSea and it's a known and respected brand.

Briefly tried a Aqua One Mini Reef and hated it. I think it was due to having a Waterbox first. Imo it's worth paying extra and getting a Waterbox/Redsea. Design and build quality are light years ahead of AO.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'm going to go Red Sea.

I have found a 425xl that's 12 months old. Comes with everything needed apart from auto top off rock and livestock etc.

I'm just hoping it's I'm decent condition and seals are still fine when filled
