Got these MP40 covers at RAP Orlando and finally got around to installing them. WOW what a difference they have made! The flow is wider and they still move a lot of water in my tank. I can't believe how much water movement they create (simply judging by food and polyp movement) but yet doest seem as direct/aggressive from when I had the original covers on. I would highly recommend these!

And a quick top down shot using the phone, I'll try taking better pictures soon... I hope.

Quick progress shot of about 1mo difference on my BC bubblebath unicorn. The dates are backwards, so the picture on the right is from 4/21 and the picture on the left is from 5/25.

I had a huge nutrient spike where my N03 was up to 50 and my P04 was upwards of .3 or so if I remember correctly. Weird thing was that I haven't had an algae outbreak just daily dirty glass. Recently added an algae scrubber since the skimmer didnt seem to be keeping up. I ended up just pulling the skimmer all together just due to space for the scrubber. Here is the growth after about 2 weeks.

Since adding the scrubber the nutrients have dropped significantly to N03 being 23.5 and P04 being 0.14 a little weird to me that they dropped that fast. Not really sure what happened to be honest but at least the corals still look ok. They definitely didn't like it because the ALK consumption dropped and my ALK level went up a little but thankfully I caught it before it got too bad.

Here is the first harvest from the algae scrubber. Looking promising so far and noticing the nutrients dropping a little.

Well, this is a ****** update. In the past 3 days I've had 2 corals RTN. I HOPE it stops there but know mu luck there are more to come. Honestly don't even know what caused this to even happen. Everything has been stable and my nutrients are slowly coming down to normal levels.

Well, bad news is that the ASD rainbow millie didn't make it.

Good news is that the pearlberry did and nothing else seems to have been affected. Couldn't really pinpoint anything to the case but I THINK I may have bumped one of the returns during maintenance and caused strong enough flow to bounce off the glass and into those 2 corals. Not 100% sure but that's the only think I could find that was off besides what I mentioned in the other post.

Parameters seem to have stabled off again and growth seems to have increased again. Will try ans take out the dslr again and try and get better pictures more often.
