The LFS I got mine at had them ALL the time... not sure what's up lately. Also, like I said in the writeup...they are completely muted and non-noticeable in holding tanks. It's only once they settle in do they flutter those big fins around. Maybe vendors pass them by due to this? Dunno...

I had one for about 3 years.. I took this picture when I bought it because I had a feeling I would never be able to get another one.. and I was right. I never saw this guy other than a quick flash of it darting out for some food. It always lived inside the rocks.. cool fish, but you hardly ever see it.

finally got a pair of these guys. I agree they are pretty cryptic but are awesome to watch dart out to snag a piece of food. Mine are still in QT and are really small so Im not able to get any pics but if you have a nano these guys would make great additions IMO.
