Im trying to fit a clarisea sk5000 in a v3 red sea 525xl sump without cutting the filter socks

So here a few pictures of the setup.
Anyone feel free to give advice

Im stil waiting for a 3 way valve for emergencies if i need the filter socks again

If I am looking at the right thing in the pic, it’s just another support/brace under the very bottom of the unit. I have the 5000 and there are 7 total.

If that open square-like hole on the same side as the intake is your overflow (likely on the opposite side of the float), then maybe the screw beneath the intake is to allow some water to escape the ClariSea (for example, if you don’t want to run your system too clean, or if you want to flush junk out). On mine, this is above the intake, but I can see some other differences in the pic, so maybe this is different as well.
