Cleaner shrimp incased in a death bubble or molting still?!

I've had my shrimp for a couple months, molted a few times although I've never seen it in action but found exoskeleton next morning.

Seen him under live rock a lil over 24 hours ago, hasn't moved so I gently netted him bc I couldn't see his body under the rock, just his antennas.

Is he hopefully still molting or pass away??????

Looks dead and covered with bacterial slime or something.

Only time I have ever seen a "netting" like that on a marine animal, is when it was dead and decaying.
