Cleaning hair algae off palythoa with hydrogen peroxide

I have these really nice green palythoas but they are covered in thick hair algae. I already tried manual removal and it is too hard since it is too reckless. My main goal is avoiding palytoxins. I don't know if hydrogen peroxide will affect it or not but if not then its worth a try.

I do this routinely. Typically i make a dip out of tank water and 3% peroxide (like you get at the drug store). I do 3-4 parts tank water, 1 part peroxide and dip for 5 min. Don't be surprised when the surface of the coral starts to bubble. Typically they open back up within 48h. Sometimes sooner.
