What's the best/favorite Christmas gift that you've ever received and why?​

My husband. We married on Christmas Eve, 2015, and he’s the best thing that has ever happened to me save for our 2 beautiful children. I waited 30 years to find him, and find a relationship where we fit each other so completely. I am thankful every year for what and who I have.

I got the Nintendo 64 the Christmas it came out.
All the stores were sold out and you couldn’t find it anywhere. My mom took my brother and me to Walmart with her to get some stuff and they had a whole pallet! I told her I’d walk to the other side of the store and she could buy it without me watching but she said “no, we can’t afford it”. Little did I know, my dad had already found one in a mall in Florida while he was out of town for work. I was so surprised on Christmas morning!!!

Probably the model train I got when I was like 5. That was my first hobby and still is one of my more active ones.

What quickly comes to mind is my KitchenAid mixer since I was just using it today.
Why? Let's just say that mixer has helped introduce me to a lot of people in this hobby.

Also, one of the best gits I have got as an adult was a nice set of knives from my brother. It's one of those gifts that I wouldn't have thought to buy for myself, but once you have nice knives, you can't ever go back!
