Hello everyone, I noticed one of my small black white about .75 of an inch in size staying bottom side of the tank this morning, and when I came back of work around 5pm it still chilling there even during feeding. I didn't notice and sick spot. I can't tell if it's heavy breathing don't looks like it to me But when I try to catch it/chase it, it's kinda swimming little on the side and when I stop it just go back to the same spot.
I put it in a acclimation box now for an hr then I tried feed again its not eating even when pellets dropped beside it.
Salinity was high at 1.028, with weekly water change yesterday dropped to 1.027
It was fine last night as well.
kh was low over 2 weeks ago, at 5.3, been dosing about 10mil alk everyday until last night at 8.23, and dosed about 2mil today
Water test half hr ago
Ammonia <0.15 or 0, nitrate 5, kh 8.568, pH 8.02-8.09, phosphate 0.03
It's been in the tank for 3 weeks and was doing fine

Can you post a picture and a short video taken under white light?

Are there any other fish in the same tank?

Could the other clown have been pestering this one? It looks like it has some rips in its fins. Can you give the little clown some places to hide in the hanging basket, to let it feel more secure?

I cannot see clearly enough to say if the little clown is breathing too fast or not. Is the other clown feeding ok?
What test are you using to measure ammonia?

Thank you for helping. Yes the other one is OK. The only time them fighting is when feeding. But they do swim together fine. By hiding you mean can't let them see each other? I got 20 gallon tank

Just that clownfish like to hide, in an anemone if they can, but behind a small pvc pipe or some other structure, mostly so they feel more secure when people approach the tank.
