Clown tang breathing heavy and lethargic

I have a clown tang In my tank for about 2 weeks now. When I first go him, he was eating flakes and pellets with no problem. I’ll put a strip of nori in the tank every night and in the morning it’s gone but not sure if it dissolves, the other fish eat it (a pair of clowns and a royal gramma) are the only other fish in the tank, or the snails. Anyway, the other day I was in the tank and the water felt cold, I checked the temp and sat that the power cord to the inkbird was unplugged, hence the reason the alarm didn’t go off. The tank water was down to 71° when I normally kept it at 79°. Could the temp swing stress him out? I brought the tank back up to temp over the course of 8 hrs. A visual inspection of the tang doesn’t show any signs of ick or any other diseases. Unfortunatly, I don’t have a Qt tank to put him in. All other fish are doing well.

His metabolism is likely reduced due to cold temperatures. Allow it to warm up and it should return to normal behavior
The food diet mentioned is inadequate for most tangs. Add :
Spirulina brine shrimp
Mysis shrimp
LRS herbivore diet
Formula 2 flake and frozen
Small plankton
Hikari mega veggie

also add selcon vitamins and garlic extract to the foods alternating daily
