I have a 10gal tank sitting empty right now but can be converted into a hospital tank real quick. Would it be wise to convert and transfer to the tank? Or is this a case where it’s about time to say goodbye?

I don't see any benefit in moving it to a hospital tank, but it could be a benefit if you had an acclimation tank you could hook to the side of your DT and keep it in there (with a bit of rock to hide in). That way, you can work on trying to get it to feed without other fish going after the food.

If that fails, sorry, I don't know what else to suggest to you.
