Hi I’m new to saltwater aquariums and I’ve had these two clownfish for a month they were doing good but I noticed a couple days ago that they where breathing fast and I noticed this white patch on one of them does anyone know what this could be.

If it looks like they are covered in a powdery dust then it's probably brook also known as clownfish disease. Very hard to treat and fish usually succumb rapidly.

Can’t see through the blue take a pic under whites only. Breathing fast and powdery usually means velvet and you need to act fast though.

I am no expert on disease identification, but if it is brook, treat it ASAP. Mine(clowns) started looking like that, I ordered some rally pro and one died before the meds showed up, lost another 2 a day or so later. Saved the last one though.

What medication would work with brook ?

Formalin, you can also do 3% hydrogen peroxide + tank water dip (1.25ml per cup) dip for 30 min then move them to a clean new quarantine tank. This will give them more immediate relief.

Other fish may also get infected but clowns and damsels usually show it first. Any fish besides the clowns?

Don't add more fish right away if your fish die... tank needs to go fallow (fishless) for 6 weeks to rid the tank of parasites.

Fish in this hobby are full of disease and often get sick in new tanks. It is a huge annoying barrier to new people in this hobby.
