Hello any help would be great my clownfish. Yesterday I noticed a red bruise on both sides of her belly white line. She was eating still and this morning she has white threads coming from those bruises. Any idea what this is and how to treat would be great.

How long have you had this fish?
Any other fish in with it?

I really need a clear photo taken under natural light in order to try and evaluate the lesions.

It looks like mucus coming off the lesion. This is probably bacterial, but I can't tell you why it started after all this time.

The serious issue here is that the lesion seems to be on both sides - and that possibly indicates something systemic, inside the fish itself, and not some simple external damage from an injury. Fang blennies can bite, but what are the chances they would bite both sides of the fish in the same spot?

Do you have a hospital tank you can use to treat with antibiotics?

Also should I treat all the fish even though they show no signs of issue

No - I don't think you need to treat all of the fish, bacterial infections typically do not spread easily from fish to fish. Please understand that I'm not 100% sure that this is a bacterial issue, some things simply cannot be diagnosed from pictures. If you do want to try an antibiotic, I would suggest Neoplex if you can get it, or Maracyn 1 and Maracyn 2 if you can't find that.
