I have a clownfish that is not looking right and looking for some insight. I had ich issues last year and the clown and PBT were sole survivors. They were both treated and lived in basement for 90 days while DT was fallow. Everything has been fine for the last 7 months until this. PBT is not showing any sign of disease or stress. Any help would be appreciated.

That's what I was afraid of. Is it normal for brook not to overtake the fish in a short period of time? Looks worse today, but feel like it has been a back and forth thing for last couple weeks.

Some clownfish do a pretty good job of managing brook for an almost indefinite period of time. Their natural immune system seesaws back & forth with it, but never seems to completely overcome the pathogen without medication.

I assume I need to take PB out and treat as well then?

Yes, and go fallow in the DT for 6 weeks.

My first thought was an infection but I think I agree with brooknylla as a diagnosis after continuing to look.

So, I did the one hour of Acriflavin MS and got it into QT. Was able to get a little better picture, and wanted to know thoughts.

Looks more like an infection, but brook could be the underlying cause.

The Triple Threat i.e. Kanaplex + Metroplex + Furan-2 would be your best bet here.

Would I need a fallow period in this instance? Would love to not catch the tang:)

Brook requires a 6 week fallow period; a bacterial infection does not unless other fish are showing symptoms.

Thanks, Humble. One more annoying question. Am I able to treat with all three of those at once, or should I stagger them over a week?

Kanaplex + Metroplex + Furan-2 should all be used together for this scenario. But do increase gas exchange by pointing a powerhead towards the surface or running an airstone on high. Combining all 3 antibiotics will deplete oxygen from the water.

Thanks for the help, guys. Clown seems to be doing better and healing. Unfortunately I noticed PBT having a couple white spots on finsand some flashing/scratching. Think I should just assume ich or velvet and leave display fallow for 80 days?

Yes, but also use metro in conjunction with copper. So you will be treating for ich, velvet, brook, uronema simultaneously.
