My torch that I recently introduced to my tank has two heads and doing well so far. My pair of clownfish that I have gotten from a previous owner are six years old and are trying to host to my torch. Should I try to prevent this?

Yes, especially if new, I would do everything I could to keep the clowns from getting attached. Many single impaired clownfish have been known to Love up on euphyllia until they kill it.

Torches don't host clowns. Clowns didn't get the memo.

You can try moving it to a different part of the tank the clowns don't normally inhabit, switch tank until they fixate on something else.
