Hi,

So I have a clownfish who has popeye and is showing signs of bullying and/or an infection of some sort. No one else in the tank appear to be showing any sort of symptoms
I have not witnessed any bullying myself. And I just don’t have the experience with reef tanks to diagnose. Some have suggested brooks but both clowns are captive bred from captive bred parents. And it just doesn’t appear to be flux to me either...

I see a little mucus on its body which may suggest brooklynella. The most noticeable sign of Brooklynella is the heavy amount of slime that is produced by a fish that has contracted this parasite. As the disease progresses, a thick whitish mucus covers the body. This will usually start at the head and spread outward across the entire body. Skin lesions appear and it is not uncommon for signs of secondary bacterial to occur. The Popeyes would be due to bacterial issue. Maracyn 1 which is ethromyacin will help with the eye. For temporary relief, you can give the-fish a FW dip or bath Even though this treatment will not cure the disease, it can help to remove some of the parasites, as well as reduce the amount of mucus in the gills to assist with respiration.
Formalin is the treatment of choice but I would suggest ruby rally pro which takes a little longer but will address an array of issues
