Hello, I have a 15 gallon nano with two oscilaris clown fish. About two days ago I noticed that one would swim directly in the output of my power head while the other would swim under the arch in my aquascape. They both do not stop swimming hard and clamp their fins tight. They do not settle down at night. They eat flake food like pigs and will stop and swim to the glass if I approach the tank. Although, they keep their fins tucked. I don’t know if this could be caused by flukes or brooklynella.
My water parameters are 8.0 pH, 0 nitrate and nitrite, 120 KH, 180 GH, 1.024 salinity.
I did notice that this coincided with me pointing the power head upwards to create more surface agitation. I think that overall flow around the tank has also increased. Could the changes in flow be stressing them out?
Ill add that I have a leather in the tank that also started to appear a bit perturbed and droopy at the same time. No polyp extensions.

A fish constantly swimming into flow is indicative of velvet.
Have a quick read in disease section.
If you diagnose velvet, the fish may have 24-48 before death, so get him into QT with copper based treatment fast.
But only if you diagnose velvet.

I’ve had the fish for a week and a half. Got them from petco. No other fish are in the tank. I can’t see any white spots on the fish. Right now they are both swimming under the arch.

Update. They are not eating today. I gave them a 5 minute freshwater dip today. They no longer are clamping their pectoral fins, but are keeping their dorsal fins clamped still. Their tails appear slightly milky which is making me suspect that I have not solved the problem. I am considering treating them with copper.

They only started to not eat today. I have not medicated them other than the fresh water dip. Before today they were eating readily. My problem is trying to figure out what is happening to them. I suspect velvet from the other posts I have read.
