Equipment:
1) Cobalt Cvue 26g
2) AI hydra 26 hd
3) Tunze 9001DC skimmer
4) 2 Jebao wave makers

Set up the tank about three weeks ago and have been working through the initial cycle. Went Marco dry rock and some live sand that seemed to take a while to jump start. Tossed a bottle of Dr Tim’s in it and ghost fed for a while unto I saw diatoms starting to pop up. Should be off and running now with hopefully 2-3 weeks left until cycle completion.

I just dropped the Tunze 9001 DC in the back middle compartment but haven’t turned it on or calibrated it yet since it’s my first skimmer ever and I am not sure what to expect. Tips would be HUGE

Thanks in advance for any help! I’ll keep the thread pretty up to date with changes and progress!

Patiently working through the cycle to get the proper parameters for fish/coral!

Ammonia - 0.5ppm
Nitrites - 0ppm
Nitrates - 10ppm

Shouldn’t be long now! Also just started running a Tunze 9001 DC today and am dialing it in. Exciting stuff!
