If your trying to meet other people in the hobby here in Columbia SC, we have a lot of really cool people that come to up here to Aquarium Specialty on a regular basis. I hold classes on fragging different kinds of corals and try answering any question you might have from beginner to expert. I still learn new things everyday but I think that is one of the great things about this hobby. There is so much to learn and there are almost always 20 different ways to get the same outcome. I'm a newbie, but in Sumter. I know exactly one other reefy person, Sir Richard the owner of Leon's Lagoon, who is now out of Fishy Business. And since I have to play nice and ya know, allow for family, work, and other friends, I don't get to see him as much now as I did when Leon's was open. I need friends in the area that can help with my newbie crap. LOL He sold me the entire set up, but I don't know enough to tell you more than its 110g extra high, on a beautiful black walnut stand w/hood, and that in addition to the blue LEDs (which also have white in them?) I also have two T5 lights.... LOL I dunno what I am getting myself into, or what I am doing (Like, NO CLUE how to arrange the rocks or anything!) I know certain fish I want, and certain corals that I HAVE to get my hands on, after that.....there is nothing there! Ask me freshwater anything, I got you, but saltwater, zero knowledge of anything! LOL Oye vey!!
