I have been watching old Neptune videos and I watched one where he talks about flow rate, pipe size and length, elbows etc.. Well you put out a pump with a 3/4 inch volute opening, so it doesn't matter much if you use a 1 1/4 inch pipe after that lol... The COR 15 works great for me on a Reefer 250 so the 3/4 inch vollute doesn't matter to me. I just wonder why they would put out pumps with a 3/4 inch volute opening. The pumps can put out 1500 or 2000 GPH but a 3/4 hole can only flow 660 right?

Your still restricted at the pump. I suppose if you crank it up to 90% and put a 1 1/4 on the output of the COR you can get more than 660? Just would run slower and quieter if they made the hole 1 1/4 straight out of the pump or 2 inches. I wonder if anyone has 3d printed a new volute with a larger hole although it would be tricky to 3d print and trust it.

EDIT : I found another source/s that say a 3/4 inch pipe can flow 1,380 GPH which makes a little more sense I guess. This is with average water pressure to a house.
