Confirming Emerald Crab (also what’s this black/white hole in the claw?)

We bought this “emerald crab” today and just want to confirm whether or not it is actually an emerald crab because it is not green like most of the pictures online. We were thinking that maybe perhaps because it is juvenile that it hasn’t turned green yet. Also when we got home we realized that on one of its claws there is a small hole with a white/black color (see photo(s)). Any thoughts on what this spot/crab is? So far we know that it is a female. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

More photos. My husband is concerned about “white spots” but when I look up photos online of emerald crabs ours looks pretty normal other than that hole in the claw that’s black/white.

that is an emerald, albeit a small one. Not all emeralds are bright green, you can even fond some red ones (though these are a different species). The black spot I am unsure about, looks like it may just be a blemish but it could potentially be a fungal infection, not sure though.

Not sure it’s a blemish because it’s a hole. Thanks for confirming she’s an emerald. I thought so based on everything but the color. Thank you

Definitely an emerald - the hole in the claw looks similar to shell disease we've seen in the local (Connecticut) lobster population.

Good water quality, something in me wants to say iodine - should improve over successive molts.
