I actually just saw this thread. No wonder I didn't know I won because I was spending time on the voting thread and contrary to popular opinion I don't read every thread on forums. Many of them but not all.

I truly appreciate all the accolades and well wishes and the honor. I guess I now have bragging rights. In another 45 years when my reef reaches 100 years old, maybe I can win again. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Merry Christmas everyone.

Congrats Paul.png

We are thrilled to honor @Paul B as the inaugural Mariner of the Month! With over 50 years of dedication to his thriving reef! Paul is truly a pioneer in the reefing world! His incredible tank has been a living masterpiece in his home for more than five decades, with fish so healthy they regularly spawn in his care!

Paul’s innovative spirit has shaped the hobby, as he created groundbreaking aquarium equipment even before it was commercially available. His knowledge, creativity, and generosity have been a blessing to the entire reefing community, inspiring countless hobbyists to follow in his footsteps. He even wrote the book on reefing (literally, he wrote a book! You can find his book here: The Avant-Garde Marine Aquarist: A 60-Year history of Fish Keeping).

So, join us in congratulating Paul B for his remarkable achievements and thank him for sharing his passion with all of us!
