Diatoms are not typically a problem without a big ongoing source of silicate. What source water do you use for top off and water changes?
Reverse osmosis water as top off. Water changes are done with the same water mixed with coral pro salt at 1.024-1.025 salinity.

As others have said, IMO, two months, especially with with man made rock, is too soon to expect that your tank has reached a stable equilibrium. Patience will be your friend. Likely, the more you try to find solutions other than parameter stability, the longer it will take.

And that is 0-1 ppm tds?

Assuming so, I’d lean toward any ongoing issue not actually being diatoms.

I was told there are barely any traces of minerals in it, so should be below 5-10ppm?

Needs to be measured. Silicate is one of the easier ions to get through ro/di.
