They will eat smaller fish and shrimp the size of a barnacle blenny, but nothing much larger than that. They don't have big mouths. If you don't have tiny fish or shrimp, they are "reef safe". They're pretty hardy. I've had 3 and that one in the picture above was the grumpy one. The others were normal "happy" fish.
It says on live aquaria that there not reef safe do you have it with corals?

They're safe enough around corals. (Watch carefully where you put your fingers though - they're not called "stingfish" for nothing!) They are predators though, so not safe around anything they can swallow.
