In this thread I will be converting my Red Sea 350 in my past journey from having it ALMOST right the first time to the expensive journey to just now realizing that the Triton method is good for me.

In order for my change over to begin, let me say I have an older Red Sea 350 v.1 sump. I needed a way to build a ”wall” for my sump to house my Reef Octo Regal 150S. I found a solution over the weekend after watching a BRStv episode setting ups a simple sump with a very coarse material to build the “wall” I am looking for in my sump. This material turned out to be this:

Lifegard Aquatics AquaMesh Progressive Filter Media- Black- 39" x 24"

I am going to cut it to size. This should now allow enough refugium to meet the Trident method. Since I will not be using filter socks (Triton method recommendation) no more changing every three days and the cleaning.

I also bought the latest AI Prime Fuge for lighting. Will be making the change on Friday.
