Know if it is Copper (I) or Copper (II) sulfate... by chance? High school chemistry teacher intrigued to know...Cuprion is "ionic" liquid copper sulfate (old school). Many public aquariums/wholesalers still use it because it has a lower therapeutic range; so cheaper to use when dosing in large volume QTs.
Therapeutic range is .20 -.30 ppm (just slightly lower than Cupramine), so you should be able to use either a Seachem or Salifert copper test kit to measure it. I wouldn't use a skimmer, run carbon and definitely don't dose Prime/Amquel while using it.
This thread on RC has the most info I've ever seen on Cuprion: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2351122
