I take small, finely dressed up goats (so you know, flower wreath on head that they start to eat, gold flaked nail polish on their hoofs, etc.), take them down to the beach, let them play in the surf for a bit.....

... THEN SACRIFICE THEM IN THE NAME OF POSEIDON SO HE MIGHT USE HIS POWERS OVER THE SEA AND EVERYTHING IN IT TO MAKE MY CORALS COLORFUL AND HUGE!!!!

...only works about 45% of the time. Poseidon can be very picky about his goats.
I thought you’re supposed to sacrifice lambs because goats are such dirty animals. That’s probably why it hasn’t been working ;Hilarious

I mean, realistically, if I wanted to make the joke more accurate, I would have said bulls instead of goats as historically that is what Ancient Greeks (especially Minoans) sacrificed to Poseidon. But for the purposes of the silliness, I thought goats would be better lol

Unfortunately I couldn't find a silly meme to go with it!! >.<

Why do you think my tank is polluted?
I think Anchor meant to say he placed his coral in another tank with higher light and different params. This is just my assumption :)

I mean, I know I have algae, but I’d hardly say it’s polluted lol. Maybe I need to move it higher up, but I think it attaches to my rock now so I’d have to cut it off.
Suggestions for food? I’ve been using Reef roids but not thrilled with it.

Reef roids is what i use. Haven’t found a better alternative to a dry food.

No matter what the color, every zoanthid I put in my tank will end up looking the same brown color after a few weeks. They don't die, just grow long stalks and lose color. I thought I was doing good keeping PO4 below .15 but guess I need to try to keep it close to .1 (may need to auto dose Phospate-Rx to keep up with it!).

Zoas turning brown with long stocks means poor lighting.

Trachyphyllia is Clade D, responds to UV/violet/blue light. Montis are of various clades. Interesting info. Thanks.

I got a Indigo Blue mushroom last May. The blue quickly faded. It has multiplied (I have 6 now), but they are tan with a little tint of green in the center. Does that sound like a lighting issue?
