Coral Disease: A tumor, Neoplasia?

Hello everyone,

Here a video i posted :


I have this dragonsoul Favia since a long time, it got bubbly since a very long time, at least a year like this, it's growing slowly.
After a quick research, i remember seeing this phenomena on some of my blastomussa and Birdnest also, but the favia one is really big.

I'm slowing getting tired of it, should I remove the coral, cut the part, rinse with water of my aquarium (avoid bacteria contamination) and then put it back?
