They are Ceramic so unlike aragonite frag plugs it does not need to be cured.

Are they easy to crack with bone cutters?
Depend on your Bone cutter, I have both the BRS Large SPS Coral Bone Cutter which I can do it without much effort but the smaller one will require both hand.
