Hello to All.
I got this coral as an unnamed frag from a LFS. When I first got it, I thought it was an acan. Lately, I am not so sure because it is much "puffier" than all of my other acans. Any thoughts?

Thanks. It is definitely fleshier than any acan or favia I have seen. It also has quite long feeder tentacles. I will get some more pictures when I get home from work tonight.

It is really unique, IMO. I was certain it was some type of acan when I bought it, but instead of growing more heads, it has just doubled in size, so now, I am certain it is something else.

I compared the coral to Google images of the scoly and lobo, and I could still go either way. There are images of both that kind of look like it, but neither is exact. Does anybody have a good way to differentiate them based on characteristics at this size?

I believe they look different while feeding. I think...

I was going to say Blasto. Glad I didn't. That would've shown how little I know about coral identification. Dodged that bullet! :p Whatever it is, the colors are striking.
