Hi guys, i just got this 2 days ago. Anyone have an idea why it doesn't open fully? And when i saw it at the store it was with green polyps. No idea why it's just white polyps?

Some times mine will retract its polyps for days. Maybe adjusting to your tank. White or green could have something to do with lighting possibly.

Color of the polyps is most likely based on your lighting type and settings.
Sarcophyton can take their time acclimating, start out in mod flow.

I don't have pictures at the moment. But my Tyree started out about the size of a 2" long oval. Now it resides in the center of my tank and is a good 10-12" long. It has fragged itself quite a bit over the past few months. I have a few smaller frags that I need to sell off. I have 3-4 ready to go. All ranging in sizes from a half inch up to about 2-3" in diameter. I'm sure there will be more to come.

Definitely my favorite coral. He has done/is doing really well. Won't stop growing/multiplying.
