Hello Guys,
I want to share some incredible experience I had recently with my Hollywood stunner chalice frag which I got last year to my tank.
The Coral has had a great development and was growing nicely until a Rhodactis got into contact with it and kill it even tho I have moved the chalice away from the Rhodactis. Now you can see on the pictures below that one mouth has spawn from the dead frag and I am stunned that it has even happened as there was absolute no sign of life from it for months.

How it was before the whole assassination attempt

It’s possible for them to regrow from the tiniest bit of flesh. Congratulations!!

I've had a similar experience with a zoa. With it being a Hollywood stunner I'm not too surprised. I have one in my tank thats grown huge. It's is the fastest growing coral that I have.

Congrats! As strange as it may be, I try not to toss an encrusting coral that may have died. I had a green pavona bleach-out on me, only to come back from the dead!
