Have you already done a large water change? If not, you should start there. Have you started running tests on your water parameters? What coral snow product did you use?

I did a water change today as well. And I dose exactly for 20 gallon. I used korallen-zucht. Could it be the coral dip rx? I did buy a new coral today and it was my first time dipping..

You dosed for 20 gallons and didn't account for your rock work and sand.

Oh crap is that what caused this? Can the corals recover from this? I’m sure not all of them…but would def want my hammer too

Think the dose is 1ml for every 25gallons, so your dose should be around .5ml

I'm not sure of the effects it will have. What are your other parameters? The LPS that had polyp bailout didn't happen over night.

All my parameters are good. So I did over dose but I did not expect such results. I hope the corals can recover

Coral snow wouldn’t cause your corals to die 1 hour later. Even if you poured the whole bottle in

it would take time for it to decay and affect water quality

The only other think I did was a water change and I did a coral dip on one brand new coral. Used rx dip. Maybe I forgot a step? I did the dip and moved the coral around 15 minutes then added it to the tank.

Did you rinse it off afterward?

First off it wasnt coral snow , like the poster above said unless you dumped the whole bottle in you wouldnt see that happen . Also do you know why you're dosing coral snow ? Did you empty the dip water into the tank ? 95% of the time a big water change solves most of the problems that cause problems very rapidly . Obviously you lost a couple corals , now its about damage control .

I was dosing coral snow to get rid of vermadid snails. Since I did a water change today should I do another one right away? Or wait for tomorrow?
thanks

Was your water change before or after the dip and coral snow?

As has been said above, even if you did a water change before the coral snow and dip, you should do one again as soon as possible. If there is anything in your system that shouldn't be there (chemical-wise), a water change will help to dilute it, potentially preventing complete collapse or death of more corals.
