Hey all, I’ve been struggling with extensive brown hair algae for the last couple months. I’ve had two successful treatments in the past month. I used DinoX which seemed to kill most of the algae. I also used chemiclean once for a smaller cyano problem. But all of a sudden some of my corals are closing up, and my algae problem is coming back. This problem only started like two weeks ago. I’ve been doing consistent 20% water changes a week and water testing. Nitrates and Phosphates read normal, but pH, calcium, and alkalinity sometimes fluctuate. I’m still trying to find the root cause, but if anyone has any advice or help, it’d be much appreciated!
