So, In February 2013, we decided to install a reef aquarium in on main conference room. This is progress to date...

This is the stand we built - we had some additional laboratory benchtop (epoxy) left over so we used it as the shelf. It was not alot of fun to cut to make room for plumbing.

Here are some specifics on the aquarium:

325 Gallon deep reef
Ecosystems 4822 "Miracle Mud" Refugium with 60 pounds of Miracle mud
[h=1]Super Reef Octopus XP5000E Protein Skimmer[/h](3) ReeefLEDLights P47 LED Fixtures
Apex Controller
(2) Jebeo WP40 powerheads

I also have:
30 gallon Auto-top off system
45 gallon Quarantine tank with 20 gallon sump

(June 2013)

After about 3 months we noticed a bloom of hair algae starting...

We decided to remove all the sand and clean all the rock before we added another 120 pounds of additional rock and started to strategically place a few corals...
