Hey everyone,

I have this Coris wrasse in QT and he’s swimming sideways, upside down, in circles, laying on the sand bed. I took a video to help explain what I mean.

The QT tank is running copper and it’s currently at 40ppm, salinity is at 1.025, and temp is 78. Ammonia is 0, nitrate is 0 and nitrate is 5ppm.

Did a 5 gallon water change last night before dosing 1 teaspoon of prazipro.

I noticed him doing this yesterday morning.

The other fish in the QT are fine. D9B2BD66-6D60-4F2E-9025-2699A6E1E374.jpeg

Looks like copper sensitivity. Ionic coppers like Cupramine "can" be harsh on wrasses. "Chelated" coppers like Copper Power or Coppersafe are just a bit easier on them. Especially if the dosing is very, very slowly ramped up.

I'd get the wrasse out of that copper as soon as possible.
